Officers have come across a Vauxhall Astra today that decided to take “driving into nature” a bit too literally… and parked itself neatly inside a hedge.
Unfortunately, the driver wasn’t around to explain their bold parking technique… or why the vehicle is SORN. 👀

The vehicle has now been recovered and is off to a new home in a lovely junk yard, where it can spend some quality time reflecting on its life choices. ♻️😅

We love a bit of creativity, but:
❌A SORN vehicle cannot be driven on a public road.
❌ Even if it’s just “a quick trip.”
❌ Even if the hedge “came out of nowhere.” 😉

On a serious note, driving a SORN vehicle is illegal and could lead to the vehicle being seized, fines, and unnecessary risk to other road users. Please keep your cars legal, safe, and—ideally—not embedded in the local shrubbery. 🌳😅
